It is time again to come together to learn, share, grow, and celebrate our beautiful art of Capoeira Angola! Centro Capoeira Angola OuroVerde Flagstaff, under the guidance of Professor Avi, is very excited to announce our Fall 2018 DanceBatukeira Flagstaff event. Mestre Cabello, Mestra Tisza, and Contra Mestre Rafael Xikarangoma will be visiting Flagstaff and giving workshops in Capoeira Angola, Samba de Roda, music, percussion, and dance. This is an amazing opportunity to learn from and spend time with the best of the best. Flagstaff is beautiful this time of the year and we look forward to having you here! 

Investment:
$85 for all workshops and activities for early registration (BEFORE September 1st)
$100 for all workshops and activities for late registration (AFTER September 1st)
$50 per day (Saturday and Sunday)

Thursday, September 20th 6:00 - 9:00 pm: Capoeira Angola Workshop and Opening Roda
Friday, September 21st 6:00 - 9:00 pm: Capoeira Angola music and movement workshop
Saturday, September 22nd 10:30 - 11:30 am: kids class and roda
12:30 pm Peace Day Performance at the Square (Dress in all white)
1:00 - 2:00 pm: Lunch at the square or Himalayan Grill
2:30 - 3:30 pm: Music Workshop with CM Rafael
4:00 - 5:30 Capoeira Angola/ Training Roda Workshop (let's play a lot!)
7:00 pm: Dinner and Party at Avi and Moran's house.
Sunday, September 23rd 10:30 - 11:30 am: Samba de Roda music class.
12:00 - 1:00 pm: Lunch (Provided).
1:00 - 2:00 pm: African Brazilian Dance Class
2:30 -5:30 pm: Finishing roda (in all white) 

Dress:
For the Capoeira Angola workshops please have dress or Capoeira pants with a belt and a capoeira t-shirt that can be tucked in. Flat sole shoes are required. For the official roda, please dress in all whites.

We have limited spots to host out of town visitors so please contact Professor Avi ASAP at capoeiraflag@gmail.com. There are also a variety of AirB&Bs available in Flagstaff but it is smart to plan ahead. Flagstaff has a small airport and at times flights to Flagstaff are only a little more expensive. Try both the Phoenix and Flagstaff options when looking for tickets! There is a shuttle service from the PHX airport to Flagstaff: http://www.arizonashuttle.com/cities/flagstaff/
