Centro Capoeira Angola OuroVerde Flagstaff and Professor Avi are very excited to announce our Fall 2019 DanceBatukeira Flagstaff event. Mestre Cabello will be visiting Flagstaff and giving workshops in Capoeira Angola, Samba de Roda, music, and percussion. This is an amazing opportunity to learn from and spend time with the world renowned Mestre Cabello who is very knowledgeable and passionate about Capoeira Angola. The Capoeira Angola group in Flagstaff has a great mix level of practitioners and you can expect to be hosted generously. You will have an opportunity to practice and play with competent and friendly Angoleiras and Angoleiros.

December 5th:
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM - Capoeira Angola workshop and Opening Roda at the Boys and Girls Club
December 6th:
5:30 PM - 8:00 PM - Capoeira Angola movement and music workshop
December 7th:
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM - Kids class and roda
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Music and percussion workshop
1:00 PM - 2:00 - Lunch (Provided)
3:00 PM - 5:30 PM - Capoeira Angola Workshop and Roda
7:00 PM - Get together at Avi's house
December 8th:
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Percussion workshop
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch (Provided)
1:30-4:30 PM - Capoeira Angola workshop and closing roda


Investment:
$100 for all workshops and activities for early registration (BEFORE November 15th)
$120 for all workshops and activities for registration after November 15th.

Dress:
For the Capoeira Angola workshops please have dress or Capoeira pants with a belt and a capoeira t-shirt that can be tucked in. Flat sole shoes are required. For the official roda, please dress in all whites. Please avoid tank-tops during Capoeira Angola workshops.

We have limited spots to host out of town visitors so please contact Professor Avi ASAP at capoeiraflag@gmail.com. There are many AirB&B options available in Flagstaff but it is smart to plan ahead. Flagstaff has a small airport and at times flights to Flagstaff are only a little more expensive than to Sky Harbor located in Phoenix AZ. Try both options when looking for tickets!
