Centro Capoeira Angola OuroVerde Flagstaff is very excited to announce our Spring 2018 DanceBatukeira Flagstaff event. Mestre Cabello and Mestra Tisza will be visiting Flagstaff and giving workshops in Capoeira Angola, Samba de Roda, music, percussion, and dance. We are also very pleased to have their daughter, Dora, who is an amazing Capoerista, join them for this event. This is an amazing opportunity to learn from and spend time with Capoeira Angola mestres who are very knowledgeable and passionate about Capoeira Angola. Flagstaff is beautiful this time of the year and we look forward to having you here! 

Schedule: 
Thursday, April 19th: 
6:00 pm: Capoeira Angola workshop and opening roda.

Friday, April 20th: 
7:30 am - 8:30 am: Performance in front of 400 K12 educators at NAU
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Capoeira Angola movement workshop
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm: Berimbau in Capoeira Angola workshop with Mestre Cabello

Saturday, April 21th: 
10:30 am - 11:30 pm: Special kids class and Roda for our kids.
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Special Chamadas in Capoeira Angola class with both Mestre Cabello and Mestra Tisza
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Lunch (Provided)
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Special singing workshop with Mestre Tisza
4:00 pm - 6:30 pm: Capoeira Angola movement workshop and Roda
8:00 pm Potluck at Avi and Moran's house.

Sunday, April 22nd: 
10:30 am -11:30 am Percussion workshop with Mestre Cabello
11:30 am - 12:30 am Dance workshop with Mestre Tisza

1:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Closing roda.

$80 for all workshops and activities for early registration (BEFORE APRIL 1st)
$95 for all workshops and activities for registration after April 10th.

Dress:
For the Capoeira Angola workshops please have dress or Capoeira pants with a belt and a capoeira t-shirt that can be tucked in. Flat sole shoes are required. For the official roda, please dress in all whites. Please avoid tank-tops during Capoeira Angola workshops. 

We have very limited spots to host out of town visitors so please contact Professor Avi ASAP at capoeiraflag@gmail.com. There are many AirB&B options available in Flagstaff but it is smart to plan ahead. Flagstaff has a small airport and at times flights to Flagstaff are only a little more expensive than to Skay Harbor located in Phoenix AZ. Try both options when looking for tickets!
