Centro Capoeira Angola OuroVerde Flagstaff is very excited to announce our Spring 2017 DanceBatukeira Flagstaff event. Mestre Cabello and Mestra Tisza will be visiting Flagstaff and giving workshops in Capoeira Angola, Samba de Roda, music, percussion, and dance. This is an amazing opportunity to learn from and spend time with the best of the best. Flagstaff is beautiful this time of the year and we look forward to having you here!
Schedule:
Thursday May 4th 6:30pm-8:30pm: Capoeira Angola Workshop and Roda (Boys and Girls Club 301 Paseo Del Flag. Flagstaff AZ 86001).
Friday May 5th 5:30pm 7:30pm: Performance followed by Capoeira Angola Roda (Downtown Flagstaff).
Friday May 5th: First Friday Art Walk (Downtown Flagstaff).
Saturday May 6th 10:30am- 11:30am: Kids class and roda (Boys and Girls Club).
Saturday May 6th 11:30am-1:00pm: Capoeira Angola Workshop (Boys and Girls Club).
Saturday May 6th 4:00pm-6:00pm: Capoeira Angola Roda (Downtown Flagstaff in all white)
Sunday May 7th 10:30am-12:00pm: Capoeira Angola Activity at the Flagstaff Jouvinile Detention Center ( 1001 E Sawmill Rd, Flagstaff, AZ 86001)
Sunday May 7th 2:30pm-4:30pm: Capoeira Angola Workshop and closing roda (Boys and Girls Club).
Sunday May 7th 6:30pm: Party, food, and Samba De Roda! (Location TBD).
Investment:
$65 for all workshops and activities for early registration (BEFORE APRIL 10TH)
$80 for all workshops and activities for registration after April 10th.
$20 per workshop

Dress:
For the Capoeira Angola workshops please have dress or Capoeira pants with a belt and a capoeira t-shirt that can be tucked in. Flat sole shoes are required. For the official roda, please dress in all whites.
We have limited spots to host out of town visitors so please contact Professor Avi ASAP at capoeiraflag@gmail.com. There are also a variety of AirB&Bs available in Flagstaff but it is smart to plan ahead. Flagstaff has a small airport and at times flights to Flagstaff are only a little more expensive. Try both options when looking for tickets!
