DanceBatukeira Flagstaff with Mestre Cabello and Mestre Tisza

The time has come again to get together for a good time! Professor Avi invites all Capoeiristas to four days of learning, dancing, playing and training Capoeira Angola with Mestre Cabello and Mestre Tisza and Centro Capoeira Angola OuroVerde Flagstaff. Most of the activities will take place from Thursday April 21st to Sunday April 24th but the Mestres will be in Flagstaff for the week before and after that weekend. This is an opportunity to learn from the best, hang out with great people, and to have the time of your life at one of the most beautiful places in the world. Flagstaff Arizona!

Tentative Schedule: 
Thursday April 21st 6:00pm- Capoeira Angola workshop and opening roda.
Friday April 22nd 6:00pm- Capoeira Angola workshop and Roda
Saturday April 23rd 10:30am- Naming and recognition for the children of OuroVerde Flagstaff! Roda and Ceremony. Adults are encouraged to attand and support. 
Saturday April 23rd 1:00pm- Roda and Samba de Roda at the City of Flagstaff Earthday celebration (dress in white and group tshirt)
Saturday April 23rd 6:00pm- Capoeira Angola workshop
Sunday April 24th 10:30pm- Community percussion and dance workshop
Sunday April 24th 12:00pm- Community/tribal Caxixi and singing workshop
Sunday April 24th 3:30pm- Capoeira Angola Workshop and Closing Roda
Sunday 7:00pm- Party at Avi and Moran's house! Bring something to share and come hang out with the Mestres! 

$75 for all workshops and activities during the event
$40 per day Saturday or Sunday
$20 per Capoeira Angola workshop
$10 Dance and Percussion workshop
$10 Caxixi and singing workshop
*Earthday Roda and Samba de Roda will be free for those participating in our other workshops

For the Capoeira Angola workshops please have dress pants with a belt and a capoeira shirt that can be tucked in. Flat sole shoes are requiered. For the Earthday roda Saturday and closing workshop and roda Sunday, please dress in all whites.
